Our clients for this large warehouse were a body corporate of four owners represented and coordinated by a commercial property manager.
They had received an insurance settlement for repairs to their property. However, their repairs also triggered the requirement for compliance upgrades to meet today’s building standards.
The scope of work subsequently included earthquake repairs, structural strengthening, fire upgrade, accessibility upgrade and refurbishment work.
The project had a nine month duration, with a carefully managed project sequence to accommodate the requirements of tenants in adjacent units and to assist owners with obtaining new tenants.
Extensive building code upgrades to four individual units within one building meant obtaining Code of Compliance from CCC was a complex process. Even so we achieved compliance shortly after completion due to the quality of our documentation.
The owners and property manager were delighted with the result.
